Since my cousin and his wife (Grant and Betsy) won't be at our house on Christmas, they invited us (us being my family and Anna's) to come over for dinner Sunday evening. Betsy made a delicious meal, and she had also set up some activities for the kids to do. There was a table for decorating (and eating) Christmas cookies, Christmas coloring books and crayons, and even Christmas crafts. The girls had a lot of fun, and it was nice to be able to spend some time with Grant and Betsy. We're hoping to do this every year and just rotate hosting duties. Betsy set the bar pretty high though! They also bought Christmas gifts for all the children, so the kids were able to open their first Christmas presents last night.
