Sophie's Kindergarten class has assignments periodically where the children have to tell mom or dad a story, then we write it out verbatim and turn it in. The stories are then printed out, put in a binder, and each child gets the chance to take it home to show their family. We finally got to read the stories in the "Christmas Through Our Eyes" binder. Here are some of my favorite quotes:
"The wise men brought gold, Frankenstein, and myrrh."
"Mary and Joseph had to travel. They had to travel 15 hours."
"All of a sudden the baby was born."
"The wise men came and gave prizes to baby Jesus."
